Website terms and conditions
Last updated: 14 October 2026
About these terms
These terms apply to the use of https://www.teddyhouse.com.au/, operated by Teddy House, a sole trader business based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Teddy House. Please read these terms when using the website.
Questions can be sent to steph@teddyhouse.com.au.
Website information and enquiries
The website provides information about Teddy House and our branding, website, marketing and digital services.
We take care when preparing website content, but information may change or become outdated. Contact us to confirm current services, availability and project requirements.
Examples of our work describe particular projects. They do not promise the same result for every business.
Sending an enquiry does not, by itself, confirm a booking or require either party to proceed with a project. An engagement will be confirmed separately in writing.
Client projects and service agreements
Project scope, fees, payment arrangements, timelines, revisions, deliverables, confidentiality and ownership of project work are addressed in the proposal or agreement for that engagement.
These website terms do not introduce cancellation charges, change an agreed payment arrangement or transfer ownership of client work. If a separate service agreement applies, its project-specific terms govern that engagement, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Using the website
Please use the website lawfully and respect the rights of others.
You must not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the website’s operation, introduce harmful software, or use an enquiry form to send unlawful, abusive or deliberately misleading material.
When providing information about another person or business, make sure you have authority to share it.
Website content and intellectual property
Copyright and other intellectual property rights in website content remain with Teddy House or the relevant rights holders. This may include text, branding, designs, photographs, illustrations, code and examples of client work.
You may view the website and share links to its public pages. Please obtain permission before reproducing, adapting, distributing or commercially using content, except where permitted by law or an existing licence.
Displaying client work does not transfer rights in that work to website visitors. Third-party names, logos and materials remain subject to their owners’ rights.
Information you send us
You retain your rights in information and materials you submit. You allow us to use them as reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry, discuss the proposed work and provide any separately agreed services.
This does not give us a general right to publish your confidential information or use it in our portfolio. Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy policy.
External services and availability
The website may link to websites or services operated by other parties. Those parties set their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not, by itself, mean that we endorse every statement or service on that website.
The website may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, updates or technical issues. We cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. You can email us if you need to discuss a project while the website is unavailable.
Australian Consumer Law and other rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or changed.
Any statement about website availability, information or third-party services is subject to those rights. These terms do not exclude liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes to these terms
We may update these website terms by publishing a revised version with a new date. Changes apply to future use of the website. They do not retrospectively change an existing client agreement.
Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of Victoria and applicable Australian law. The courts of Victoria have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction rules that apply to you.
